Why Don't Samples and Bit Rates Stay Where I Set Them After I Power Down?

Hello--

I just got my VS-100 yesterday and haven't really even had time to play with it yet.  There was one thing I noticed that was a little disheartening. After I would power down the unit, when I would power it back up, my 24/96 settings were changed back to 16/44.1.

This happened when it was in stand-alone.

Any thoughts on this?

Many thanks,

Stephen Davis

    Razor,

stand alone you need to go into the menu to switch it, if I remember right.  If it ain't sticking, I'm not sure why.  I'm sure Seth will be along to help.

Just tried it here and bit depth and frequency remained just as I had set them (24/96) after power off/on. I do not have a card yet but I was able to put the device in standalone and change bit depth and frequency.

Dang--I wonder why mine isn't holding? Brand new out of the box. I will only ever be recording in 24/96 and it will stink if I have to change that each time I fire it up.

I'll check with CW tech support. Thanks guys. I'll post what I find out.

(SOLVED) For some reason beyond my knowledge, the rates are staying where I put them now.
