    try converting the file to a wav before importing into SONAR

    What are you importing from?

    iTunes
    Windows Media Player 
    or just a file on the HDD

    FWIW the problem is with Windows. It cannot read v2.4 tags. (Sonar uses the WMP codec).

    So, either re-tag to v2.3 or as the consensus states, convert to .wav format.
