Why are some people so foul with every response?

I would say that 99.237% of the people on this forum are good to great - and I like CJ too. But there are a few users whose posts always get me down. I dread seeing them. Everything they say is negative to down right bitter. Some of them are heavy posters too.

Come on you 0.773% of the people, life is what you make it. Have at least 1/4th as many positive moments as you do negative ones. If you are so frustrated with life, change something.

It takes all sorts to make a forum. I don't get down because of what some else does. The ones doing it should be getting themselves down. The other thing is even if you are down never let them see it.

I hate blocking people. There have been a few newbies that were so offensive that I blocked them. There are one or two senior guys too though.

You are right though. I just wish that if I had a valid question (a rarity I know) there wasn't some one always trying to rain on my pajamas.

It is only a couple. Thankfully.

John you are one I would likely hang out with, if I weren't too embarassing. You seem to be an upbeat gentlemanly type, but knowledgable too.

Everyone has hobbies. My ex liked to fight for a hobby. The only time I was ever able to get her to a marriage counselor, she admitted that she like to push and push to see how far she could go before I snapped. Huh? There have to be better things to pursue.

For those who knows a litlle about automatism programming , mine is a NAND door , that means basically put some in , the opposite is out !!!

To go back to the topic , well after my first dayz , i figure out that CJ was in every thread (or let's say most of them ! ) , everytime i needed help , he and othas were there , also when sharin feelings about a topic....cj has his style but he knows most of the time what he's talking about , and he's trying to be , imho, objective in his answer unlike some guyz that come with an attitude like "i'm am the truth"!!

well i got opinions but we some demonstrate by A+B some (that is inverse o my thought) i agree if the arguments are there....

Funny, I know a couple of posters like myself who don't have high count but have been here awhile, One left the forum because of the negative responses here. I just try to answer when I can and usually have a laugh at the poster that is ranting about how bad Sonar/Cakewalk is.

Well, about one year ago I was posting rather heavy here...I was a noob(still am) and I did get some people with the elitist vibe going. CJ has helped me out on occasions but he does have a harsher-ish way of going about it. Frankly, I didnt care becasue he was always one of the first people that posted back with help. CJ is a man of very few words so at times I can tell he knows how to help me...but just gives me a bit of the info.

    He's bald...like me....good guy.

space, take forums with an extra large pinch of salt and you'll do well.. regardless of the forum and nothing is a problem.. look at the bright side, most of the people who you don't get on with in life you don't have to see very often.

I have a few people on block, I'm not going to lie.. simply for 2 reason... they are NEVER happy with anything (even more than me if thats possible ) or they have just been continually pessimistic and would moan if if things were 100% perfect (1 in particular talks the talk.. and thats it). The others are those not even bothered to give feedback, that continually ask questions yet can't spend 2 minutes to say "it worked" , sometimes it's interesting to hear back for research purposes.

There is 2 members of a band, both talented.. one I think of as a mentor (not mentalist) and very nice person. The other, well is just damn right rude for no reason. Joke is he sampled my spoken voice in a track and thinks I don't know, but if it wasn't for the more decent guy I'd have taken it to court. It's more funny he thinks I don't know. We all have people we just click / get on with better, such is life.

OK, this is my one time that I'll allow myself to post this, because this post is an exception to the following rule:

I try to have a simple rule here: Do I have something helpful to add to the discussion? If so, then I may post a reply.

Now, what does irritate me are the two or three old timers on here who seem to have this rule:

"Only post when you think the OP is attempting something that * I * wouldn't do."

Example, OP asks "how do I hook up multiple XYZ devices?" Grumpy old timer responds "Why would you want to do that?"

WTF kind of help is that? There are a couple dudes here who get downright condescending and mean about it, too.

OK, rant over. Can I help you? : )

The jerks are clear to see. They are here all the time, being what they think is clever and keenly aloof.

How do some of them have that much time to be here on this forum?

It takes it out of being helpful and straight into petty girlie crap.
