Why aren't my automation envelopes working?

Why aren't my automation envelopes working?

My automation envelopes are not updating the control widgets in the GUI, nor the actual controls.  I've tried volume, clip gain and MLF EQ gain on the Prochannel.  I'm hoping it's just a button I've inadvertently toggled but I've checked everything I can think off.

It's not the Offset toggle or the automation Read button.  Any guesses or solutions would be appreciated.   I've never run into this before.

    Hmm... maybe the setting for mono versus stereo track?

    A reboot seemed to fix the EQ and Volume envelope issue.

    The clip gain envelope was my confusion.  The gain widget is not connected to clip gain envelopes as well it shouldn't be.  They are independent of each other.

    Ive had envelopes stop reacting. Restarting sonar or a reboot has helped with this int he past.
