Why did this take me so long to do...

Have had a second flat screen sitting on the floor for months after my company finally supplied me a monitor for the home office.
 
Set it up yesterday...so easy to get going and so cool to have all the plugs on monitor 2 and track / console on monitor 1.
 
Did not notice any processor penalty or any thing else negative....are there any concers I should watch out for ?

    as long as your video card is healthy enough with on board memory it should be wonderful.

    I just replaced my original 22" with a 24 and I am running a 23" HD TV/Monitor combo so when i want a break from a project I can watch tv.

    both are running at a wonderful 1920 x 1280

    Green Acres is the place to be
     I dont twitter, facebook, snapchat, instagram,linkedin,tumble,pinterest,flick, blah blah,lets have an old fashioned conversation!

    Yes a good chunk of your sound is probably bouncing back towards your wall.

    Mike - that is exactly the effect I am looking for...

    My one monitor I have on an HDMI cable (the video card has 1 G DDR memory)

    Bapu - I am not sure why one would ever want to leave one's DAW...?

    I am going to pull the trigger on X1b + hotfix this weekend.....

    Wish me luck !!  ( I just finished my 2nd 'album' so it is a good time to re-tool the factory)
