Why do I have Sonar X1 LE?

Just checked my download page at the Cakestore and there was a link to SonarX1 LE there. I downloaded and thought I'd get an error or something but nope, it seemed to be fine. Why do I have it? Does it come for free with X1 Producer or something?


BTW, the file is called SonarX1 LE Update....

    I have seen that myself too...

    I was thinking this was because a few years ago I used Sonar 4 LE (that was added with the E-MU sound card I had bought). It is the fully registered version, so maybe this X1 LE is a free update for the registered Sonar 4 LE..

    It could also be I got my hands on Project 5 v2 and registered that a while ago (almost together with the full Rapture version), and the X1 LE is offered as a replacement or something..

    Just guessing...

    Of course! Talk about a friday afternoon mind. I did register a LE version that came with some hardware years ago. And since it's called "Update" then I suppose there's a connection to that. I was just worried since it's in the Cakestore for 99 bucks or something and thought that I wasn't supposed to have it. But its installed now on my 12" laptop and I had so much fun all night making music with it.

    Thanks for that JClosed. Now I don't have to wonder about this anymore
