Why does MC5 randomly not let me use MIDI anymore?

Why does MC5 randomly not let me use MIDI anymore?

Here is my problem, I make a lot of songs using only vst plugins. The 3 I use all the time are Cakewalk Soundcenter, NI Kore Player and Adventus. They all work fine but sometimes when I'm in the middle of making a song MC5 will just randomly not let me put anymore in a song. I don't know why its really random sometimes it lets me put in like 8 other times it only lets me put in 3. Its really annoying because I have a good song going and then all of a sudden I cant add anymore instruments. Why do you think that is happening?

    There is a limit on the number of soft synths you can use in MC, 8, I think.
    Next time you have this problem, open the Synth Rack view and see how many are there. If you are using any Instrument Tracks, those are soft synths.
    If you see some that are present but you're not using them, delete them from the synth rack.
    Plus, if you use TTS-1, you can send 16 MIDI tracks to it instead of the 1 track to each instance of Sound Center.
    You can also bounce the synths to audio then re-use the synths for more tracks, if you prefer SC to TTS-1, for instance.
