Why does a bit of stupid clothing rank a sticky in the CW SOFTWARE forums?

Never could understand why anyone would PAY to advertise anything. Especially on their body.

Yet hundreds of billions of dollars are spent each year to personally affiliate with the ridiculous. All the tabloid papers, magazines, TV shows, clothing, makeup, cars with dealer names on them (????),.... are funded by people somehow hoping to gain stature by showing others how they spend their money.

Must be the expression of some sorta weird primitive subconscious human group-identification-genetically-based-need. Often seen demonstrated by very young persons (understandable), and for adults, the result of continual societal brain-washing. I buy Del Monte, so I must be acceptable. I must be good.

Are you one of US, or one of THEM. Wear the colors, the logo, wave the flag,.... Only $10.

CW dudes: Want to get rid of a bad investment: Price the July upgrade special for Sonar Pro at $75 with the requirement to display the CW Sonar logo, via clothing, for the month of August. And include the "costs" as an advertising expense for CW.

If you yearn to publically affiliate yourself with anything you have to pay for, instead use your money for counseling to determine why.

If you object to my comments, think about what you pay to send everyone this type of message:
     "Sent from my Verizon/ATT,...  Iphony"

Get a clue. Buy a vowel.    They should be paying you.   Get rid of such c r a p.

An annoying bit of debris for a Saturday.

But, don't get me started.

I would say because it's their forum and therefore they can do what they like.  I wouldn't buy one, but couldn't care less if someone else did, unless they were mad/sad enough to pay the UK shipping costs in which case I would mock them mercilessly.

We all know Cakewalk is cool, but the general public will think you're promoting a cakewalk at a church social in Boston..... They don't have a clue of what cakewalk is. Now if it said "Tascam Recording Software" or "Cakewalk Recording Software by Gibson", it would be cool.

I quit wearing t-shirts years ago, and now only wear polo shirts.

Well I'm certainly not buying one but considering it's an artistic tool that allows me to do all sorts of freaky deaky music stuff I think wearing a Cakewalk shirt would certainly be different than plastering the name of my phone company across my chest.

There's also the quirky dork factor too which is apparently quite chic these days.

Thanks for the heads up, putting my order in now!

EDIT: on second thoughts...they only come in black or white. Never been a fan of black t-shirts, and I'll get stains all over a white one. Now when in the hell are they going to start selling those Cakewalk MUGS?

I guess I better look into counseling as I have been known to wear a logo or two...

I think the black one looks pretty smart.  The price is ok, if it weren't for int'l shipping.

15 hours a day, six days a week, I wear a shirt emblazoned with the logo of the company I work for because I have to.
I've been happily using Cakewalk products for 9 years. But more than that, I'm proud to be associated with the fine community here. A company that cares, and users that care even more.
Yes, I'll advertise that.
I ordered it in black, and I'll wear it because I choose to.

I'd really like one of those t-shirts. Cool design. In fact, I was most of the way through placing the order when I got to the screen where it said it would cost $9.95 to ship. What? That thing can't even weigh one pound.

Sorry, Cake. I'd love to buy the shirt, but, on principle, I'm not gonna pay 50% of the price of the item itself to have it shipped.

I saw it as a way to quietly say I mix music.

While I find a lot of people on the Web who mix, I find far fewer locally.

StudioCat > I use Windows 10 and Sonar Platinum. I have a touch screen.
I make some videos. This one shows how to do a physical loopback on the RME UCX to get many more equalizer nodes.

I would but an entire SET of coffee mugs, AND have extra ones to give to clients, to keep them thinking about how nice Sonar took care of their needs.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE find some local shop that will sell us coffee mugs with a Sonar or Cakewalk logo on them.  All you would have to do is write up some quick agreement and give them access to the desired logo, so they could print it on the mugs as needed, or perhaps in batches of some common sense volume.

Please?
