Why is pattern brush gone??ww

Not that I ever new how to use it.....
Just wondering why it no longer exist??
Did something better take its place???

    I was a late bloomer when it came to the pattern brush. My guess is that since navigating through loops and stuff is more streamlined, they took it out.

    Plus you can create patterns in the Step Sequencer too. And there's the Matrix view, etc.

    There are many different ways to create patterns and loops in SONAR.

    I really liked it - very sorry to see it go. But I've still got one fott in 8.53 and the other is learning in X1 so I can still use it. But 90% of my work is audio only. Still though, it was handy, wasn't hurting anyone....why kill it?
