Why is the default blue font of my X2 different from yours?

I noticed that many X2 screenshots on the web show this default font:
https://www.google.co.jp/search?q=sonar+x2&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=bVbdUfD4J46hlQXW6IHICg&ved=0CAkQ_AUoAQ&biw=1280&bih=629#facrc=_&imgdii=_&imgrc=0f1JDxnaRTvFEM%3A%3BOazAPkpA2clrGM%3Bhttps%253A%252F%252Fwww.cakewalk.com%252Fproducts%252Fimages%252Ffeatures%252FEdit-Step-Sequencer.jpg%3Bhttps%253A%252F%252Fwww.cakewalk.com%252FProducts%252FSONAR%252Ffeatures.aspx%3B451%3B289

But the default font of my X2 looks like Tahoma, closer to this one:
https://www.google.co.jp/search?q=sonar+x2&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=bVbdUfD4J46hlQXW6IHICg&ved=0CAkQ_AUoAQ&biw=1280&bih=629#facrc=_&imgdii=_&imgrc=gqwNUiF8QOzvbM%3A%3BB0CXJoWXKOM8EM%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fhassaku-kun.up.seesaa.net%252Fimage%252Fx2apl.PNG%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fhassaku-kun.seesaa.net%252Farticle%252F318497577.html%3B416%3B297

I recently upgraded my Windows 7 OS from 32-bit to 64-bit (clean install) and after the first launch of my X2 I checked the default font so I'm not mistaken.

There are two possibilities:
1. I'm using the English version of X2 on a Japanese OS (Win 7). Maybe my PC doesn't have the default font used in X2?
2. I'm using the Essential version of X2. Maybe the default font differs by version?

But I see the Japanese version also shows the same default font:
https://www.google.co.jp/search?q=sonar+x2&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=bVbdUfD4J46hlQXW6IHICg&ved=0CAkQ_AUoAQ&biw=1280&bih=629#facrc=_&imgdii=_&imgrc=Z_ySWe4ytfuvbM%3A%3BZWjUZfI3dJw2pM%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fblog-imgs-52-origin.fc2.com%252F6%252Ft%252Fh%252F6thloud%252F20130120_01.jpg%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252F6thloud.blog.fc2.com%252Fblog-entry-38.html%3B781%3B489

Why do I have the different default font? Any idea?

Thanks

Tak T.

Sorry, but I don't know how to interpret the links. They all point to the same things <--plural.

I don't know, the second one has a little more of an aqua tint to it, to me. It doesn't look bad, I kinda like it.

2:43... open both in new tabs and you'll see a slight difference in the color of the font.

Sorry, it did not work for me on my work PC.  Now that I'm home, the image is properly loading front and center. Whatever that font is that is displayed in the hassaku-kun.seesaa.net image, it looks like total garbage! It appears to be the Eurostile font or something similar. I prefer the default font, which is displayed in the other two links.

As far as the color goes, I would say it's the same blue but JPEG compression or colorization/contrast is just changing the way it appears. But if you like that color, I know the text color customization in the preferences does indeed work, so you can try to color match it.

Thanks for your replies. Looks like the thread title was a little misleadingly. I should change it but the Edit button doesn't seem to allow me to do so on a smartphone.

My question now is, what's the name of the font file used for the track names in your X2? I might not have that file so I want to check it. Also, is it actually possible to change the type of font used for track names, bus names, plugin names in Browser, etc.? As I stated in another thread, I once changed all fonts in Windows 7 personal settings but it didn't change the above fonts in Sonar (font used in each menu options changed without problem).

    Tak T.

If I wasn't clear, it's the font type I'm talking about, not the color (I know how to change font colors and save them as part of a color scheme).

    Thanks

I gotcha. However, I do not know of how to change the font. Someone with more tweaking skills will need to step in to help.

I don't know ... but you might try sending FBB (Fastbikerboy) or Scott Garrigus a PM, either would know.
    Good luck to you!!
