Why isn't anyone talking about SAWStudio?

I mean come on. It's a 1990's looking DAW that was written in assembly language and costs around $2500 for the basic version. Why aren't Sonar users all over this?

Every now and then, I look them up and visit their website - in fact, I did so just last week. A curiosity, really.  SAW has always been its own thing, with its very loyal user base. And if it works for them, why not...

When you click on the link to see how much it costs, it takes you to a 3rd party web "place holder" page, that only has an advertisement for spammy type stuff, but no store, no prices listed.  But in the comparison chart (if you can find it) it does list it for $2500.  Pretty steep for software that hasn't been updated in years!

My only question is why?  Maybe Gibson should buy the company.
