Why the same length

Hi,
I mixed down four tracks to four individual stereo tracks, I then exported them as WAV's (44.1 16 bit) onto a website
but it looks as though they are all the same length for example 4.52, what am I doing wrong.

Thanks
John

when you select a track the selection becomes as long as the longest track in the project, even though the selected track is shorter

if you want the export to be just as long as the track itself, select the clips you want to export instead of the whole track

if you just want the tracks to be as long as they are in the project.....some longer...some shorter depending on the track...... export them individually.

On occasion,  I do export individual tracks when I work on parts for someone else.

Another option is to use a wave editor to trim the tracks after export.

When you export each track, its best to click on that track, so only the timeline for that track gets exported. The reason why your songs are all the same length is because you never selected the timeline when exporting
