Wich OS is more stable XP SP3 or VISTA SP2

I have trobleshots with sonar 8.5 PE under win xp sp3. I have vista sp2  32 bits already. Should I install this os?

    Both of those operating systems should run stable.
    If not, then you need to trouble-shoot and figure out why you're having stability issues.
    If it's hardware related (most likely), that problem will follow any OS installation...

    Depends on what sort of trouble you are having....Please explain in more detail.
