Will Addictive Drums work in GTP4?
Has anybody had any success using Addictive Drums in Guitar Tracks Pro 4? I tried the demo version Addictive Drums but couldn't get it to work.

GT does support VSTs, doesn't it? If so, AD should work. What do youm mean "couldn't get it to work?"
SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre - Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc. The benefit of being a middle aged amateur is the low number of years of frustration ahead of you.

Glad you got it working. GTP4 has full VST support, so you should be able to use any VST instrument with it. A word of caution for any GTP3 users: GTP3 only supports VST effects. VST instruments require MIDI, which GTP3 has no way of working with.

Steven, not sure if you're still checking the forum. I was just wondering if you got the full version of Addictive Drums and if it is working ok in GTP 4.

Steven, would be kind enough to tell me step-by-step how to get Addictive Drums demo to open in GTP4? I downloaded the demo, but have no idea how to get it open in GTP4. Please help, I'm a novice with this. Thanks.

I had the same trouble with the demo version.Try using the Plugin Manager and direct it to the AddictiveDrums folder, look in your documents and settings.I had the same problem but don't remember exactly how I got it to work.

I'm assuming you now have the full paid version. So how do you open AD for a project in GTP4? For example, do you click on the + symbol to add a track? Then which one do you choose: Audio Track, MIDI Track, or Instrument Track? Under Instrument Track, I get Studio Instruments, then SI-Bass, SI-Drums, SI-Piano, and SI-Strings. If I know exactly how you are opening AD in a new track, that might help. Thanks.
