Since it is lossy, it will degrade it somewhat. Every lossy compression algorithm does. Whether it is audible depends very much on the music being compressed, the settings that are used, and the listener's sensitivity to compression artifacts.

For completely lossless compression, you should use FLAC or ALAC (Apple's) compression.

Unity imports either MP3  or  Ogg Vorbis . Wondering if , exporting from Sonar with the highest quality , 192000 sample rate , 64 bit depth , would have a more positive effect ?

Once upon a time Ogg Vorbis was head and shoulders above the rest of the lossy converters, I'm not sure if that is still the case, as I only use FLAC these days when I absolutely have to compress something I care about, and for everything else I just use MP3<G>!

But compressing audio has become a lot less of an issues these days, both storage and bandwidth have increased to the point where that compression is just not an issue anymore.
