Will the internet break today?
I'm wondering if the massive grab for Windows 10 will choke the internet. Will we detect a disturbance in the force?

Heard a report on it this morning, with a startling statistic; 10 years ago Windows was on 95% of all computer devices, now it's only 14%. Microsoft really dipped out on the phone/tablet market.

Hi,
I only linked up one of my W8.1 machines for it ... have not decided on anything yet. Normally I wait about a couple of months so they can fix the crap they put in it. Also, I want to make sure I can get 64-bit and a Professional version, not some cheaply baked home crap!
Music is not about notes and chords! My poem is not about the computer or monitor or letters! It's about how I was able to translate it from my insides!

Used to be Viagra, Bapu! ... the pictures sometimes came along, but it was Viagra and those letters asking for money for some African country ... remember? Porn? You do know that porn is probably more responsible for the activity and expansion of the home entertainment business, right? They took to video when the movie companies thought they would lose their money. They took to the internet when music companies thought they would lose their ripped up shorts. And they will probably make 3-D look good, instead of stupid like some avatar!

lol... just posted a thread about how I can't update Windows on my DAW.
Their servers suck at the best of times. Digital River has jankballed me on multiple occasions and One Drive is the WORST file sharing service I've encountered.
And these are the people that have a stranglehold on the PC world. Wankers.

Yep! ...and a lot of people broken too... but maybe it's good. Sometimes people don't know they are broken or how broken they are until given the opportunity to see it for them self. Personally, I am appalled at how quickly really HC porn started being piped into almost every home with just a click saying you are 18yo. I am glad we didn't have the internet when I was growing up, I really am. I was so stupid... I would still be trying to delete things. Windows 10... not for me, not after the security post earlier. I think we all knew this was coming, it always does. If there is power to be had over the people, those who can will seize and use it. The world has become much too small. The smaller it gets, the easier it is for a small group to control it. So far it isn't broken here. Wait until the iPhone 6 Plus C with the new 9 chip comes out in September... then I will break it! Don't you think that people who just jump right in to W-10 without dual boot are taking a risk? I may put it on my DAW but not on my surf computer. J

The internest (and thiese forums) have quite a few who have dual booted or single booted Win 10 for *months* and hase (at least) had no problems with SONAR. FWIW. YMMV. Batteries not included.

Call me cynical but I've always been suspicious of free stuff. Is MS now a government agency? As Mr. Crabbs say's: "Don't play on the hooks kids!"
Does anyone know exactly why W-10 is free? I thought W-7 and W-8 were pretty good OSses... or something.
