Ive got a Lenovo laptop with no firewire input, just USB.
 
I saw this express card at Frys Electronics, but Im not sure if this thing will work on a Firewire Recording interface like the ART Tubefire for example.
 
Has anybody had any luck with  adding an express card so you can have a firewire plug on your lap top?
 
Any help would be great.

    Chances are it will not work. Both Presonus and Focusrite warn against using express combo cards. Someone on here already tried using one and had to return it. It has to be the same kind of port. i.e.- dual 400 or dual 800.
