Win SONAR X3 studio in Gibson's Win a Studio Contests

I've been keeping an eye out for any "official" word/sign to the completion of the acquisition.  At least there is a glimmer of cross promotion.

    The acquisition was completed in December 2013.

    Yes indeed...and Gibson is very happy with what Cakewalk is doing, their plans for the future, X3's coolness, and especially, the people who make up the company.
     
    There's a lot of "internal promotion" going on within Gibson Brands to get all the brands up to speed on Cakewalk and Sonar. In fact a couple miles away from me two Cakewalk reps are doing training sessions. Also, Sonar X3 LE is now being packed with TASCAM interfaces. Some of the areas where distribution was lacking are being shored up. There's much more to come; we're just getting started.
