Windows 10 & process explorer

Is anyone using process explorer in windows 10?

I'm still trying to find the cause of my strange audio weirdness that I reported on the hardware forum but
I have noticed something in process explorer that maybe a clue but can find little information about it and it may
mean absolutely nothing.
In the main view I have noticed a process called, "audiodg.exe" and process explorer is telling me that it has an, 'invalid handle'.
Are other people seeing this and if so (or not) does anyone know what it might mean and if it's sugnificant to anything?

Cheers

Steve

    Hi Steve,
I just Googled this as I haven't personally come across this issue, but possibly this might help?

I'm not on Win 10 yet, but TechNet says there was a fix release (version 3.2) earlier this year for a Win 10-specific problem. That suggests that it is generally compatible. I can confirm that it works fine on 8.1, usually a good indicator that it'll do OK with Win 10 as well.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

    Thanks Mesh

Not sure if it's me but have tried that link yesterday and this morning but it keeps saying something is wrong with my sign in but it won't let me resolve it, it just asks me to create an account, which I already have.

I foolishly created a microsoft account which means I have to enter my password every time I turn the computer on. I'm wondering if I would have needed to sign in to read your link before I created an account? It would be the first time that's happened.

Steve, I also have a Microsoft account that I have to sign in just to get into Windows and my Desktop (btw, my PC is ON all the time).

After signing on, have you tried following the instructions on that link (a possible solution....)?

Yes, even if you log onto your PC with a Windows live account you may need to log into a site that requires MS credentials.

BTW, you can disconnect your pc from your online account. I forget where the option is located though.

Personally I always password protect my PC so having the live id is a convenience. For example, I don't have to log into one drive.

BTW Steve, the links in your sig (Soundclick & Myspace) both lead to some other website (tiny.cc) and not the intended site.

    Ha, thanks for Mesh

I haven't used either for a long time but not sure why the links died, thought maybe my accounts had closed but they're still there so have amended the links. Soundcloud is my preferred choice these days, I really don't like what they did to myspace, absolutely ruined it, and there was me thinking it actually was, My Space

Well, it is actually My Space......when someone signs up, it becomes their Space.
