Windows 10 suddenly not seeing motu 1248

today my computer did not see my motu 1248.  I tried reinstalling the drivers, changing the cable, plugging the cable (usb) into a different port, updating the firmware, etc.  no luck
sometimes motu discovery app would see it.  and a couple times device manger saw it but said the drivers weren't installed.  UGH!!!!!!

I have similar issues with a Behringer mixer interface. It's a constant hassle reinstalling drivers, rebooting the system, and so on. It's a 70/30 chance it will work at any given time. Behringer's drivers haven't been updated to Windows 10 yet so it's expected.
