Windows 7 and SONAR LE

I just purchased an audio interface and it came with SONAR 6 LE.  I have Windows 7 on my computer.  Is SONAR 6 LE compatible with Windows 7, or do I need to upgrade to SONAR 8.5 LE?  Is it even possible to upgrade to SONAR 8.5 LE?  Thanks.

SONAR LE 6 is compatible with Vista so it will probably work fine with Windows 7, too.  You can upgrade to Windows LE 8.5 very inexpensively directly at Cakewalk's online web store.

LE comes in 32 bit and 64 bit versions. If you have a 64 bit PC then use the 64 bit version, it sounds the same, but seems to work better.

RE: 64 bit, though, realize you lose a whole bunch of stuff in 64 bit due to lack of drivers, etc... be sure and research carefully if you plan to do a lot of video or audio imports.
