Windows 7 and Sonar X1 VST loading instability

Hello,
I have a stable system:
motherboard = msi 890GXM -G65
chipset = AMD 890GX
CPU = AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.4Ghz (4 cores)
memory = 4X 2GB DDR3 1333mhz Kingston Lifetime CL 7
hard drives = 4X 500GB (2 in a RAID 0) SATA WD Blue
video = NVIDIA GFORCE 8600GT
audio/other = ECHO MIA (PCI) - with current drivers for windows 7

I’m running windows 7 64bit. I’m running Sonar X1b 32 bit and 64 bit. Both have problems loading VST. I use only two VST plugins, no audio tracks and only one instance each . One is called Jamstix, the other is Kontakt 4. Kontakt 4 loaded as "simple instrument"

One out of every three times, one or the other of these plugins will fail to load. Sometimes it says that the plugin is “not installed correctly” I have re-installed several times, it does not help. – Doesn’t matter if it’s 32 bit Sonar or 64 bit Sonar.

These plugins work fine in “stand alone” and Sonar works fine with no VST plugins loaded. When they do load, they seem to be stable.  – These makes me think that the problem is with Sonar’s “VST loading whatever”. Is Sonar ready for Windows 7 x64 or should I try XP?

Are there any configuration changes I could make that would make it easier for Sonar to load VST plugins correctly?

I’m at the point where I’m considering getting something different to replace Sonar, but I don’t have any idea what. What else has good interface like Sonar, but is stable on windows 7 64 bit?

Thanks very much for any info

    Wow this is Interesting, I unfortunately have X1 Essential so I can only run 32 bit and I use Toontrack EZDrummer adn more recently Toontracks S2.0 with The Metal Foundry SDX  allowing 1.5 GB ram to Load Sound Files etc.
    I have not had 1 issue and I use Windows 7 also.

    Are you running Sonar as an administrator and did you install the plugins as administrator?
    I avoid all these problems by turning UAC off.
