Did you hook the device up first or run the driver install first? Normally, you run the driver install first and only instal the device either when the driver install tells you or after the driver install has completed.
In most cases if you connect the device first either Windows will install an incorrect driver or the install will fail.
Connect the device and then go to the Device Manager and display the USB, chances are there will be an Unknown device entry shown, which is most likely the Inspire. If there is, RIGHT click on the entry to highlight it and then LEFT click Uninstall. Then disconnect the device from the PC, restart the PC and after Windows starts, reinstall the Presonus driver software and as noted connect the unit after the driver install. This should take care of it.
