Windows 7 not recognizing M-Audio Oxygen 61 keyboard

Hi,
I just got a new Windows 7 computer, and Sonar X3.  I'm trying to get everything set up, but when I plug my MIDI controller (an M-Audio Oxygen 61) into the USB port, I get a message saying "Unrecognized USB device."  When I tried looking up a driver on the M-Audio site, it told me that no drivers are necessary since this device is supported by Windows 7's plug & play.  So, I'm at a loss.
(for the record, the Oxygen 61 is working fine on a Vista computer.  Also, yes, I tried different USB ports on the Windows 7 computer.)

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

M Audio support has a Oxygen 61 drive 1.3.0 zip file that will replace the windows driver.

if you have a oxygen 61 other color you need to download that file.

while it states on their site that no driver is required M Audio DOES have drivers you can download.

Had the same issue with my Trigger Finger. I seem to recall that when I had my Quad Capture unplugged it was be recognized. Ended up having to use a PSU and the midi in on the Quad capture to use it. Ultimately why it's in a box waiting for me to sort out ebaying it

    Thanks for the replies.
Turns out, I'm just a moron.  I found another USB cable in one of my desk drawers, attached it, and immediately Windows 7 recognized the the keyboard with no problem at all.  So I guess I simply had a faulty cable.  The odd thing is, the "faulty" cable worked perfectly fine with the Vista computer.  So maybe I'm only a semi-moron, not a complete moron.  The jury's still out on that.....

Sometimes the number of USB midi connections seems to be the problem with my Korg Micro 61 when I get the same error message.  It's bit of a nuisance.
