Windows 8 drivers

I don't know if this is old news but:
So today I asked the Roland people via Backstage Pass when the drivers for the V 700 C and R would be out.
They responded in a few hours with the news that they have been written and will be posted withuin 24 hours.
That's a good omen says I.

    funny thing, they aren't available yet on the international download site from www.roland.com/support where I usually get offical drivers from ... yesterday's broken link also said "under testing" for VS-700R ...

    Pls, whoever installs, let us know if everything works fine!
