Windows update insanity

I finally clued in to the fact that I keep getting Microsoft C++ 2010 library version 4 on a continuous loop. WHen I checked my update history I can see that the same thing has been installed 31 times since January 13.

Anyone else seeing this?

Regards, John

I just looked. Mine has installed 9 times since Jan. 12. Is there no way to stop this?

if it is listed in the win update you can skip ignore it and it will not ever install again.

You beauty! I followed your link and followed the instructions. It seems fixed now. There's obviously a bug in Win 10 that prevents it from realizing that the update was successfully installed. The utility program that MS provides through your link provides a work around. Thanks.
