I like it. The intro threw me momentarily, sounding like an old video game. But I like the vocal, which fit the lyrics, good change of pace at 1:25 or so, the lapse into a semispoken lyric. Well done.

Yeah the intro is part of my electronic style. Thanks a lot for your comment! I'm going to edit the drums to make them a little louder with more cymbals and high hats.

    Hey halifaxer,
excellent pop tune with a good vocal performance which is a bit too dominant in this mix the backing sounds kind of minature and a bit dull, particularly the guitars.
Just a bit of balancing to do.
    Cool stuff.

    halifaxer,

Creative vocal performance. Interesting intro style too. Actually, there is quite a bit of creativity demonstrated in this piece. Mix foreground/background balance could use some adjustment, as Opaque mentioned. Overall an interesting piece with a clever approach and instrumentation.

Hey guys, I tried balancing it out more but I ran into a problem. In the chorus it seems that the guitars may be a little too dull so the only way I could make them louder than they already were was to add reverb. When I did that the chorus sounded better but in parts that were just verses and didnt have too many sounds it made the guitar sound really loud and annoying. In the chorus since I had other sounds it masked the guitar but in the verses there werent many sounds other than the guitar so it sound worse when i makei t louder. Any help on balancing?
