I did do a version of this in 2011, and decided a couple of months ago to revisit the piece with the intention of only remixing and mastering the work from 2011, but instead thought how rubbish the piece sounded and decided to do the whole thing again with my much improved skills. If your goal here is to depict the psychic unraveling of a rejected lover, you've done a fine job. A standard piano arrangement of this classic ballad underpins the increasingly frenetic and unhinged electric guitars and synthetic instruments while we view bizarre images of overwhelming isolation, made the more intense by their juxtaposition over a seemingly "normal" world.

Lol, well I think you might be projecting a bit Larry. As an artist - and that's an Artist with a capital A, and not some postmodern drone who creates art with the intention that it's for gay feminist rights and planet earth ;) - but as an artist I just let the sounds and images fall as is. Yes, there is some planning - but only insofar as I wanted some empty room models and something that possibly represented me within that space. I also wanted to push my skills a bit further, as this was my first attempt at propper animation using Blender. Great program too by the way, but it will melt your brain ;). In reality though, I like to leave the meaning up to the viewer/listener. It's audio-visual poetry, and it was just me using my work as a cathartic treatment...woman troubles lol, but all fixed now :). Thanks for listening and commenting

Thanks Mesh, yep I've worked very hard on my production, mixing and mastering skills and indeed my visual design skills. I upgraded all of my plugs last year and now have about 30 Waves plugs that can replicate nearly any studio sound. This piece I used a TG12345 or Abbey Road sound. I must admit that I buried the vox a bit, because I don't have a proper mic...I just used an 80 dollar Peavy which only had a cardioid pattern. I can sing so much better than that. Also, the sound has a lot to do with Sonar ;), I firmly believe that Sonar's 64bitfp mix engine and indeed the ability to record 64bitfp audio files is the one of the more important elements in achieving the sound I now can get. When I discovered this last year, I was only using 32bitfp, and what I heard was low end cloud and distortion...at 64bitfp - all of this disappeared.
Anyway thanks for listening Mesh and u2 Kakku for my next trick - I'm working on a Nights in White Satin cover and the ultimate test Bohemian Rhapsody, which I've got my eye on a model of The Colosseum as the back drop :). I've also got two more sonatas ready to go, with one having the theme of 70s Incredible Hulk and 'You wouldn't like me when I'm angry' lol. I found this great model on Blendswap - it writes itself from there.
