I'm in no way affiliated with musicians friend, though I do enjoy giving them my business. I just noticed that they're selling the Universal Audio 6176 Channel Strip and throwing in the DSP quad card for free.

This is a mic pre I've been drooling over for a while, but don't have the cash atm. Just wanted to share the find. I hope people don't see this as spam, I wouldn't post it if it was an awesome deal. And if you do, I'll never do it again

    Thanks for sharing this info Josh... I too have been dreaming of some UA gear for quite some time... I used to have an original 1176LN and a Teletronics LA2... but sadly they are no longer mine.... so I dream of buying a few 610's, as well as a pair of 1176's and LA2a's.... and having the quad card thrown in? I'd be in heaven!

    ...but sadly I can't afford the postage to ship them let alone purchase them... <sigh>...

    But we can dream.................. !

    Too bad they don't have the same deal on the LA-610 mkII.
    I'd upgrade from my LA-610.
    Can't go wrong with UA in the signal chain!
