Evidently, in the wrong hands, a guitar can be a bass.

I can't remember if it was a Dove or Hummingbird...

Visiting a lifelong friend a few years ago that had gone thru a nasty divorce showed me what was left of his guitar...I knew he'd owned it for many years. She'd completely destroyed it and he saved it to remember her by...I guess.

He said not snapping her neck was the hardest thing he's ever had to do....along with a lot of other things he said...and I had to keep a straight face! But man, there was some funny sht said.

I wonder if she beat her husband because the action was too low for her.

Bass players typically don't have wives.

They (occasionally) date the drummer's girlfriend.

Well folks, I have a feeling that the judge might take pity on her when it comes time for sentencing.
She may have started out the beat down of her husband w a Gibson .
Yet, after looking at the facts surrounding this case , The Judge and jury may find it in her favor that she really only used one of these Epi's style Uke's during the start of the fight ..

From what I've heard so far , It's the Fender Guitar she used to beat him with that may have been the real problem ...

This case may come down essentially to a question of intent and motive ...

The Tex Mex Strat that was sitting right there on the guitar stand in close proximity in plain view to both her and her husband , she chose not to use or beat him with ...

She deliberately went into the closet , pulled out a guitar case , opened it and chose to beat him with his Fender Dobro ....

I had one just like this one in the pic about 10 years ago ..the thing was bullet proof , it weighed about 12 pounds and I'm glad I sold it  lol

I suppose the only other  thing she has going in her favor is  ,
She could have pulled a Jimi on him by beating both him and his Strat into little pieces and then setting them both on Fire ...

So, you're saying she likes jazz?

Nope she hates Jazz and it may have played into the reason why there was a fight in the first place .

A little back story on the imaginary couple ,

The Night the guitar player (who took the beat down ) first met his future wife to be , she was dancing away happily on top of the bars counter top to Aerosmith's Walk This Way with a group of other hot looking girls in a wet tee shirt contest ...
that should have been clue number one for the guitar player she digs rock ...
Beings as he is a guitar player ..that one unfortunately slipped over his head lol....at least to his credit he was into tasty guitar melodic playing that served the song ....at that time ...
So as time marched on , they had a happy courtship for a while . He was a rock guitar player in a band . The band played out often and she got to strut her stuff in public ...all was good for a while ....they even decided to tie the knot and get married ..

Then for some odd reason the guitar player decided to get caught up in all the dark little holes that guitar players can and like climb into some never get out alive ...
At first he started getting into the guitar slinger thing " who's the fastest of the all " she was OK with that because she dug some Metal and Shred type of tones ...dug the tapping also ,,liked the Van Hallen dive bombs he was learning ...things were smooth ..

Then It all turned to CWAP when he decided that he was too good for what was happening musically in his own era ...
She would come home from work and ask him " Honey what that your playing ? " he would say All The Things You Are ...
Now get me wrong that's a good tune ..one I try to practice and learn ...but his poor old lady was getting hit with a whole style of music she was simply not into ....
She likes to feel her music ..the days of dancing on bar counter tops with a wet tee shirt were coming to a fast close in her life ...
She was getting desperate for a little musical excitement ...
We are talking about a woman here that likes to sit on the washing machine while the machine shakes uncontrollably to an unbalanced wash load  .Her man was no longer playing out and when he did the music he was playing was a real snoozfest ...
The story I hear was she was forced by life's circumstance's to do this "type of activity as a physical & mental coping mechanism"
It was either go do a load of wash and try to find some peace and sanity or listen to her husband noodle away endlessly on his guitar practicing Giant Steps in all 12 keys for untold hours on end .

IMHO, That guitar players biggest mistake was when her washing machine broke , he shined her on about fixing it in a timely way ...
To add insult to injury he took the money she gave him out of her own pocket for the repairs and spent it on new pedals
This newfound info is a large part of the defense attorneys strategy for winning the case and getting her off Scot free  ...

IIRC  , There's only a couple of Musical Genre's out there that can stimulate and produce the type of lows that can give a girl who is stuck married to a guitar player (when she really wanted to be married to a bass player ) that type of satisfaction ....

Jazz ain't one of them  trust me I know ...I found that one out the hard way

Kenny

Judge asks 'First offender?''

She answers ''No, first a Gibson, then a Fender!''

I'll get me coat...

And the judge goes ... thank you, ma'am ... but I heard the songs and they stink!

JAIL!

GAVEL on the soundblock!

Fixed.
