Wonderful! I got my stitches out yesterday...

They put some "Steri-strips" on the cut on my finger. A couple of hours later there was blood seeping through the cracks between the strips and forming droplets. I got that stopped but it disturbed me so I went back today. NOW I have more steri-strips and a splint. I have to wear the splint for a couple of weeks. I guess I will be a keyboard player now... It will probably work out for good as far as recording.. God moves in mysterious ways. I'll be working with BFD, EZDrummer, and Addictive Drums. Working with Sampletank and my keyboards which I really have neglected. I think this is a blessing in disguise.
I got my VRM box yesterday, a two wire connector to rewire my JT-30 Astatic, and should get new ear pads for my phones tomorrow. I WILL be glad when this finger crap is over, it is like having one Frankenstein finger, or perhaps an extra thumb or a big toe instead of an index finger but I will benefit from having to do things differently, of that I am sure. So it really is turning out to be a GOOD thing, if a PITA.

That was the first thing that crossed my mind about music after I did this... it is always there in back of my mind that if I actually cut off a finger of get arthritis too bad, there is always the slide. However I really don't like playing slide, but I would if that was all I could do. I just hope this is soon something that is OVER.
@Criag... I get a charge out of those bolts! There are always neighbors with pitchforks though... that gets old.
