Woooppeeeee? I broke down and took advantage of the tax deal!
Been a Cake user since PA8. Now Im at Studio 8.5. With the deal going on I went ahead and jumped to X1 Producer.
I might not use it all (heck I dont use it all now) but I couldnt pass up a good impulse buy. Im downloading now.
Ahhh where to start my good mates?

listen to scott..do it in that order..welcome to the x1 club man..its going to be a culture shock going from pa 8..get your reading glasses on..and i highly recomend picking up one of scotts book..SONAR POWER.
to be perfectly honest when the book came out i was comfortable enough where i thought i didnt need the book..i was wrong..that book has got so much stuff in it its increadable..my brother ordered it on amazon.left it over my house and now he finaly just got it back today..i would nt give it back..i love it..so my order is going in very soon.

Gotcha on the order there. One question though. We have the Quick Fix things but what about the 64 and 86 Hot Fixes? No need? garrigus
Keep 8.5 installed.
X1 will install in it's own separate folder.
Then apply the X1a, X1b, and QuickFix updates.
That should bring you up-to-date...

Why thank you very much. All of those tunes were done in Sonar Studio 8.0-8.5. Gonna complete some new mixes and finish the last few tunes for a release. Thanks again. LANEY
