Sounds like a pro guns & roses jam out! Bats sound stamped all over it. No obvious memorable hook for me, but it appears to be more of an flash-jam in the pocket than anything else Cian

Yeah... loved it. Short, sweet and to the point. The guitar leads are so smooth and love the bends/wammy bar work. Then again, the bass has some real nice lines too. And, well, everything sounds great.

thanks for listening, synk..... this is about as pure of a track as i have, other than it being multitracked. each vocal, bass and guitar performance is just straight up, from beginning to end, no punch-ins, no editing, just a one shot deal; going for vibe. that's what i like, anyway.

Some serious good riff rock there. High energy masterful soloing. Vocal melody seemed a unique blend of Prog and 80's Metal influences. Possibly my favorite from you. Loved it

thanks man, you get where i'm coming from a bit, i think..... that solo was a one take, after i had worked out a few ideas beforehand. it always feels better if i can get it during one go at it, versus punch ins

DAMN, one up from the vaults!! heheh, thanks noise, i thought this one had died off, but like a brain eating zombie, it has arisen. yea, this one hits the ground running, after i tried a number of different 'intros', none of them stuck, and the song is most effective exactly as it is.

THANKS smallstone..... i've been playing a long time, so for me, the trick is to play stuff that i think is interesting.... versus 'chops' or riffs.... some of my stuff may be a little fast, but it's ALL based on melodies. maybe not a 'hum along' melody, but something memorable.

Wow! You read National Geographic too! But you play kick ass guitar and I don't. End of comparison. I absolutely loved that main guitar riff, doubled by the bass I think? Only mix thought would be to bring that bass up a little, but John Q. Public would never give a . . . care. I don't think there's anything separating you from bands in this genre that are famous. Great vocals, great production. cheers, -Tom

Great guitar work, great vocals. I'd agree with the comment above where the bass could be brought up a little. The drums too maybe. But still, short and sweet and a straight up rocker. I like it.
