As I live 40 miles from Venice beach (in CaulieFournYa) I've seen that guy over the years. In fact, see that brick building? next to it was once a shop that I setup for a guy living in that building. He wanted to print pictures of all the gay "idols" (Marilyn, Dietrich, Garland etc.) Since I knew silk screen printing (my job for three years, 1969-1971) he hired me to print the shirts and set up the store front/warehouse. This was waaaaaay before Venice beach was what it is today.

Very nice Bapsi......you're a jack of all trades....Master of Posts!!  When I lived in Burbank, I used to go to Santa Monica/Venice just to see all the "interesting happenings" down there.

I played in the first two years of the volleyball league in East Beach in Santa Barbara, where I was a part time lifeguard. It was one way to keep the tan baked in and not get your skin burned up! I have the welts on my arms from Karch, and Tim, and John ... and then some! We also used to play at the YMCA on Tuesday nights a few times ... and let me tell you ... those guys were good!

I used to love watching those guys. I only got to play a few of the AVP guys (I ended as a AA player and they all come from the AAA pool), but I definitely ended up with some bruises from getting thumped on.
(And you left out Sinjin and Randy!)
