A world tour in under 10 minutes. I felt like I needed my passport to hear this. You have collected quite a bit of musical styles and tastes in this piece. It all sounds very good with the different influences flying in and out of this tune. This just begs for a video if you have the means to do so. Good job.

Thank you so much Lynn, I don't have the video abilities yet, maybe a project for the future. Alex

Interesting, creative idea Alex. It wasn't musical enough to hold my interest unfortunately, and the samples from Paul Simon's Graceland album seemed a bit over-used.

At over nine minutes long, I found myself a bit daunted. Unfortunately nothing happened in the beginning to make me want to listen for that long. This might work fine within a film as "incidental" or background music where I was focused on the visuals more than the sound, but as a pure listening experience, it left me wanting more.

It becomes more musical as it progresses, subtlety is important, music doesn't have to be bang from the word go. remember this is not a piece of 'music' it is a SOUNDSCAPE

I understand, and I meant no insult. For me, the problem was that little happened at all for the first minute or so, and even then it was very slow to build, and I started to squirm in my seat. As a soundscape I feel you could still grab my attention and stir my imagination. Texturally it was nice, and the quality was there. While this is nothing like Lustmord, the concept of soundscaping is similar, and if nothing else, Lustmord grabs your attention. Or perhaps some of the pieces from Mike Oldfield's "Songs From The Distant Earth" CD by way of example.

I thought you captured a great variety of different sounds and textures. (Some people just don't get the concept presented here though.) There is a lot of potential here. You did a good job.
