Wow, is this forum STILL busted ??!!

Is anyone else still experiencing very buggy and temperamental forum? Half the time I cannot post without being told there's an error, and then eventually when it does work it's posted 2 or 3 duplicates. In fact I'm still seeing a lot of posts in threads where people have deleted their text and written "duplicate post."  Back when the new forum was still young, someone from Cake told us that the reason why the forum was having problems was because search engine spiders were crawling it intensely, and that the problems should go away when that was done. Well it's at least 2 or 3 months and I'm still having the same problems. Anyone else?

    Hi Sharke,

I had the same problem when responding back to you in another thread.
My post finally went through after the 3rd try but it didn't post duplicates.

I know that they have been implementing changes today which may be increasing latency.

StudioCat > I use Windows 10 and Sonar Platinum. I have a touch screen.
I make some videos. This one shows how to do a physical loopback on the RME UCX to get many more equalizer nodes.

Yes, I had the exact issues you describe when trying to post.  Pretty frustrating.

It has been acting kind of odd here...I had the error thing but rarely did the post duplicate

    Yup

Typically, I can't post a reply using the Quick Reply form, the Full Version reply form works most of the time and starting a new thread always seems to work.

But sometimes I get this when using the Full Version reply form:

    Server Error in '/' Application.
    Runtime Error
Description: An exception occurred while processing your request.
Additionally, another exception occurred while executing the custom
error page for the first exception. The request has been terminated.

That's pretty special, it's going in my "Exception Handling; You're Doing It Wrong" book :-)

[edit: my 'Yup' had mysteriously vanished, so I have re-added it...]

Yep - I get this first time I try to post in the morning and it last for a good hour or so before I can post.
