Wrastling for Demonland.
This is an old track, dating back six or seven years from my long ongoing (and mostly stalled) Worm Ouroboros project inspired by E R Eddison's 1922 fantasy novel. I decided to revisit it and replace the older VSTis and do a remix while I am held up waiting for vocals on my current project. https://soundcloud.com/goldrybluszco/wrastling-for-demonland The Organ and Piano each represent one of the protagonists.

Nice! I think I was able to follow it okay. Gorace gets "it" in the end... May have to play it again to make sure, but I thought it was creative.

Thanks, Yep he gets it in the end, 'tis his death rattle played on the moog. Gorice is represented by the organ as I thought it fitted his sinister persona, the idea was to reflect the flow of the wrestling match between the two main instruments.

The ghost of Keith haunts this piece for sure, I thought that's what Arien may have meant by "Nice".

Cool tune there, kind of avant guard prog rock, so that might be avant grog. Avant grogrok. I liked the organ's crunchiness, like a monster dragon sat on it! Obviously, I have not read the book :) cheers, -Tom

Excellent! Sounds like an out-take from Tarkus, very nicely composed and arranged Glyn.

My first thought when I heard the opening to this was is Glyn channelling Keith?
Nice playing Glyn works well here.

Thanks for the kind comments. To be honest I wish I could play this stuff without having to resort to Sonar's MIDI editing features, but I consider myself a composer/arranger rather than a player. I have been revisiting another track from this period, there were a few "what was I thinking" moments but its coming together now - Watch this space.

I'm with Tom on this one - AvanteProg it is! Keith is definitely shining thru on this one, with a big organ, no doubt about that. Good stuff Glyn!
