Solution for Yamaha DTXPLORER wrong midi notes (I put the title here in order to help other friends finding it in google to get solved this unfair problem)
Well, after a whole night without sleeping I think I found a solution.
(Talking about Sonar 7, perhaps it also works the same in another DAW)
1) Insert your desired Drums Synth.
2) In your MIDI track out Open
Drum Map Manager and load a GM Drum Map
3) Looking at the right columns (IN note and OUT note) go to the Note #31 (Sticks) and change only the Out Note for #38 (Bass Kick)
4) Go to Note 33 (Metron Click) and change the Out Note for #36 (Snare)
5) In the same Drum Map Manager go to
Out Port and point
all your drums instruments to your desired Synth Software (Cakewalk TTS-1, or Groove Agent, or EZdrummer, etc)
6)
Save your modified Drum Map as DTXPLORER (or the name you like)
7) Go to the midi track where you will record your drums and
set the output to Drum Map DTEXPLORER.
8) Arm the track, press record, sit down at the DTXPLORER
and bring as many rock and roll as you can for the enjoyment of all your neighbors.......
And Voila! It works........ You will have your performance recorded in MIDI, able to be edited as you want.
In fact, this is a very very simple solution, but
you don´t get the girl until she`s kissing you....... Thanks so much to the interested friends.
