Wyrd!

A dozen self-published authors got together on Goodreads.com to collaborate on a Science Fiction / Fantasy short story anthology.  For some unexplainable reason, they let me hang out with them.  I think it's because I make them look really smart by comparison.  We each contributed a story (a couple of them wrote two stories).  The finished product is a free eBook.  It's available in a number of formats on Smashwords at https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/355249.
 
Soon, it will be available on iTunes, Barnes & Nobel, Kobo, and other eBook sites.  In time, it will probably be offered on Amazon.  It's free because we didn't want to deal with dividing up the small bag of pennies we might earn if we tried to make some money.  (very small bag...)
 
I wanted to mention this because I know there are several Sci-Fi/Fantasy fans in the Coffee House.  There's a wide variety of material in here, so you're likely to find something you enjoy even if that Bubba character is annoying.
 
No kitchen cabinets were harmed in the writing of this post.

Karyn, I know.  I'm working on it.  (Really!)  My available free time has diminished substantially, so I'm having difficulty meeting my goals.  I've received a lot of feedback and criticism from other authors, so I have learned a great deal.  I'm trying to improve on these weaknesses in the new book.  I do have a working title.  It is Blithering Genius.  The title refers to a new character who is an evil genius.  Unfortunately, this character is also parasitic hair who must speak through a dimwitted host.  I was thinking of Albert Einstein's crazy hair and I wondered, "What if his hair was the real genius?"  In this case, of course, the hair is evil.  (No, I don't have hair envy issues.  Why do you ask?)
 
Mike, I think the CHB has too much self-respect for that to happen.  Also, Bapu would want his tights back.  We would also need a boatload of guacamole, sheep, mimes and napalm.  The cleanup would be horrendous.
