I want to believe...

don't know what u have against fox news splat. Probably a political thing. Look at Megyn Kelly, previously a smoking hot defense attorney, now one of the world's top anchorwoman. Far far smarter and beautiful than any British newswoman. You should watch her- she is totally brilliant.

X-files was my favorite series a long time ago so it is really nice they are bringing it back for a short period. Who knows if people really, really, really, really, really like it and it gets mega popular they might make more episodes.

I'm looking forward to the next round of X-Files. From what I read in The Guardian news, could turn out to be very interesting.

If there are some hard core fans of the series here(don't need to be hard core fans), to celebrate this perhaps they could do some x-files style song or perhaps make a cover of the theme song and make it a little more song like. These aren't easy tasks but I know there are guys here who can do this. I would try this but this feels like it might be a bit too hard for me.

From Wiki

The theme, "[link=javascript:void(0)]The X-Files[/link]", used more instrumental sections than most dramas.[70] The theme song's famous whistle effect was inspired by the track "How Soon Is Now?" from The Smiths' 1985 album Meat Is Murder. After attempting to craft the theme with different sound effects, Snow used a Proteus 2 rack-mount synth with an effect called "Whistling Joe". After hearing this effect, Carter was "taken aback" and noted it was "going to be good".[71] According to the "Behind the Truth" segment on the [link=javascript:void(0)]first season[/link] DVD, Snow created the [link=javascript:void(0)]echo[/link] effect on the track by accident. He felt that after several revisions, something still was not right. Carter walked out of the room and Snow put his hand and forearm on his keyboard in frustration. The keyboard had an echo effect setting that had accidentally been activated. The resulting riff pleased Carter; Snow said, "this sound was in the keyboard. And that was it."[70]
