I thought you guys might like a chuckle at these Logic problems: http://www.musicradar.com...-we-want-to-see-551859 Well done Cakewalk for providing us with functionality that should be standard in every DAW. Loving your work =)

I don't know? Doesn't seem much different from any other software people want better features and things to work better. Not much different then things I see by people on the Sonar forums. Not sure there is a reason to gloat. I'm sure there are features in logic we would appreciate in sonar.

I use Logic all the time and I just don't get it. These guys should be using Ableton if that's the features set and type of GUI they want. On my humble MacBook Pro, I'm still impressed at how well Logic does - compared to Pro Tools, Studio One and Live. Comments like ""We would like to see a better and easier-to-use sampler. We chop up a lot of samples for our beats and we have to rely on third-party plug-ins for that. The ESX24 is not suitable for that purpose, so if Logic could have a sampler more aimed towards the beat makers, that would be great." Just drag the audio file in the arrangement, enable flex time and choose "make sampler instrument". You're done. Logic even creates the instrument track for you, assigns the sampler to it and maps the midi file. International DJ, uh? So not only can't the guy play an instrument or record his own music, but I guess he needs something that'll basically do everything for him, including chopping up the loops he lifts up off records... Surely that's the kind of guy who has read the manual. Not.

Surely that's the kind of guy who has read the manual. Not. Nailed it one my friend. The issues they've outlined have never really affected me, or anyone else I know that uses Logic (and there are many of them). Sure there are quirks and annoyances, and I agree with you, I swear these 'superstar dj' types really do want a DAW that does the work for them. However I couldn't help but smile when I read it, thinking to myself "Sonar has had that/done that for years" I guess the forward thinking features and functionality that Cakewalk bake into Sonar are what keeps me coming back. And long may it continue. I am looking forward to Logic X tho (or whatever Apple chooses to call it) And just to clarify to everyone, I posted this for a giggle. I'm not one for gloating a goat (ha)
