    LOL I thought it was worth replying to 3 whole words.....and a few dots.

    Everyone happy then? System resources all below bursting? No meltdowns? Data loss?

    I'm hoping to receive Win 7 HP through the post in a few days for £40, and I think the move to X1 Essentials may begin later next week sometime.

    I'm actually using X1 Producer and it has plugins which are more resource hungry than Essentials does.  I have had no problems once I worked out the initial problems I was having of sonar crashing.  tech support helped me figure out it was Kontakt which had not been updated to the latest versino which was causing X1 to crash. 

    since then - smooth sailin'
