X1 Mastering test (Metal song)

I've seen lots of people having problems with X1, but for me it helped improved my sound and mixing!

    Thanks Js  :)

I actually found out about the glory of HP filters lol - Hobo doesnt have a lick of that stuff on it, so once I get this all down pat it should sound even better!

    Thanks for the input!

Mastering is all about monitors :P

Need a song, demo or album mixed to sound great? Why waste weeks or months learning how to mix when I'm sure you'd rather spend your time writing songs and performing gigs? I can mix your tracks so that they sound fantastic. My rates are very affordable. Send me a PM to find out more.

kinda prefer a cross between the 2 versions; the original is bassier and fatter but a rough in the mids, the x1 mix is too shrill but has a crispness...getting there....

It was one of my other songs :)

I fixed it up some more, and I'm pretty happy with it.

I finished up the 3 other ones I had been working on too. These were all recorded over the last 2 years (one year of which I didnt have a working interface). Unfortunately that means they were recorded a different times and different interfaces so the sounds arent matched properly.

    Thanks for the input guys!
(I REALLY need good monitors now)
