X1 Producer Crash

I am running X1 Producer with all the fix packs on windows xp. I have a small project (about 10tracks) which suddenly started crashing X1 the moment I open it and start doing something. The worst part is it locks the OS and no windows open after the crash. I have to hit the reset button on the PC. Apparently it seems to me like some plugin is causing the problem. I had completed the mix and closed the project the last time I used it successfully. I use producer plugins and the pro channel for mixing. Any help would b of immense help since there is nothing I am able to do with this project. Is there some way to open a project without loading the effect plugins or is there a way to selective load plugins for opening the project?    Is there some log which i can chk ?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, hold down shift when selecting the file, and it will load in safe mode, which lets you accept or reject each plug-in. So at least you'll be able to find out what's actually in there.

Thanks a lot John....i loaded the plugins one by one and skipped the ones I had a doubt on, it was izotope alloy which was crashing.
