X1 Producer & Mixer Bundles ?

Does anyone know if X1 is going to be bundled with a specific Board (like the ZEDR16).

IMO it gives me a sense of security to see collabs between software and hardware companies/products versus all the research we the individuals put into who is using what and how well it works together then trying to sort out what "might" work best for us with the least amount of trouble.

I think Cakewalk put all their eggs in the VS-700 basket. It is audio interface, control surface, sound module, and DAW software combined, and I would buy one myself if I didn't already have all the functions and more covered in other components.

Yeh, I dont blame em on that and I like the VS700 setup, just twice as pricey for us hobbists. I do like that SONAR 8 was bundled with the ZEDR16 specifically designed to be intergrated with the software. I also luv the 16 mic pre on that board. (I like everything mic'd as much as possible) You can never have to much on inputs but if ya dont have it-well ya dont have it LOL. Its an awsome deal for 1/2 the cost and so many here use that exact setup.  That is the way I am going to go very shortly but am curious if CW has any intentions of redoing similar with X1 specifically.

I really wish CW would get the ZED-R16 Act surface sorted out. It's "coming soon" according to the support page but it's been "coming soon" for about 18 months.

The ZED is a great bit of kit though. Routing possibilities are pretty much endless.

Sonar SE was bundled with the ZED when I bought mine but don't know whether X1 Essentials will be/is.
