1st thing to do is to give more info.
Did you install the latest 64bit win 7 drivers from Motu?
What exactly is going on? Are you dropping out? Is sonar not seeing the Motu? Are you not able to get sound?

The more you give, the more you receive. Thats what she said also..

IT SEEMS WHEN I LOAD A FOLDER ie: ROCK, ALL FADERS ARE MAXED OUT PLAYBACK ALL DISTORTED, I HAVE TO BACK DOWN THE IN PUT TO ALMOST ZERO, I THINK IT MIGHT BE MOTU DOING THIS, I HAVE LOADED DRIVERS FOR WINDOWS 7 OFF MOTU'S SITE, HELPED BUT INPUT LEVES STILL HAVE TO BE LOW, TO THE POINT YOU ALMOST CAN'T SEE THE FADER LEVEL BUT HEAR IT FINE/ WORK IN PROGRESS.

aNY INPUT WOULD BE HELPFULL. THANX BASS PLAYER IN NEED!!!

    Hi Steve,

FWIW, I've used a MOTU 8-Pre many times without issue.
First, are you using a Texas Instruments chipset Firewire controller?
When connected via a good TI chipset controller (running the latest driver update), the 8-Pre works well under Win7x64.

Make sure you're running ASIO driver mode... and make sure your system's DPC latency is in check.

    Best Regards,
