Split the track at the start and end points of the song, apply fade-in and fade-out if you like, then select the time in the ruler and export audio.

Assuming this recording has multiple tracks: Back up your files, Import the tracks into a project, Select all the tracks, Split all clips at the start of the selection you want to mix, split all clips at the end of the selection to be mixed, delete the clips before and after the selection you just created, bounce to clips ( this part is destructive read: backup the original files ). This will give you a project with just the selection you want to work with. I hope this helps.
