X1 on 64 bit Win 7

Im setting up a new workstation on Win 7 and intend to go 64 bit. Couple of queries :

 - is there a specific version of X1 that I need to download to run on 64 bit or is the same installer that works for both ?
 - are there any lessons learnt, warnings, red lights etc.,. that I need to be aware of before moving to 64 bit.

The new configuration is an i7 3770k on a Asus P8Z77 VLX . 8Gigs of RAM and 500Gigs of hard disk space.

Experts please advise.

Thanks, in advance,

You should be posting questions about the X series in the forum above this one. All versions of SONAR that have 32 and 64bit versions use a single installer that has the option to install either 32 or 64bit. Since you are transitioning you may want to install both. That way if you encounter a problem with an old 32bit plugin, you will still have a 32bit version of SONAR that will open and access the plugin. If you relied on a lot of third party plugins that do not have 64bit versions available, expect some issues, especially from freeware plugins. Some issues may be addresses by using a third party bridging software, jBridge. For best performance, you might want to install a second internal hard drive (true for any version of SONAR).
