X1- one track Won't bounce to clip?

This track is stereo and is almost entirely V-Vocal modified.
I thought I'd bounce to take the strain off as I am starting to get drop outs and play lockups. (fixed by closing & rerunning sonar) I had other tracks like it that bounced just fine.
The message is: "Direct show error-this filter does not support the current audio format. It may require a different number of channels (EG stereo instead of mono) or a different sample rate."
As said, it's already stereo but I don't see an option for changing the sample rate.

Trying to change it to Mono freezes playback.
Ideas?
Thanks
Glenn

Don't know why you are getting the error.

    Things you could try.
    1. Clone the track and see if you can bounce the new track then you can delete the old track.
    2. Try "Bounce to Track" instead of "Bounce to Clip"
    3. Try "Export Audio" and only export the one track, then import the audio.
