X1 out of memory error message

I have X1D and simply tried to import an Adele mp3 file into a new project file and Sonar came back with "Out Of Memory" and prevented me from importing this. Help!

    convert to wav

    SONAR uses Windows MP3 decoder to convert MP3 to WAV. Some MP3 files are not compatible with Windows. Windows decoder reports "Out of memory" which is somewhat misleading message. Convert MP3 to WAV with another program before importing it to SONAR.
